The Caribbeaners are definitely the go-to people when it comes to relaxing and making the most of what you have, and the West Indian Day Parade is an accurate summation of their vibrant culture. 9th Annual Unicycle Festival

For those unfamiliar with the charms of a unicycle, this is the perfect opportunity to get acquainted with one. Of course, its main attraction is still the race, but there will also be a variety of sports that will be played with unicycles, so that’s definitely an interesting element in there. Oh yes, did we mention that one of the featured sports is sumo? We’ll leave you to think that one through.

The US Open

The tournament will also be celebrating its 50th anniversary in conjunction with the completion of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. There are 24 sessions in total for the 2018 tournament, so get your energy levels up for some amazing games!

Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit

Familiar with Jackson Pollock? Well, whether you’re a fan or drawing a complete blank at his name, this famous painter’s sidewalk sale of his paintings in 1931 can now be experienced at the Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit.
