The Best Places for Brunch in NYC

New York City is known for its food, so it should come as no surprise that it has some great places to enjoy a good brunch as well. Below you will find the top five brunch options in The Big Apple, each of which offers completely different experiences. If you want to visit one of the locations below in style, then be sure to use our New York City limousine service.

Sadelle’s is best known for its bagel towers with spreads. This restaurant is always bright, busy, and full of energy. Some regulars refer to it as a bagel paradise. It’s an ideal location for group brunches. If you choose to brunch at Sadelle’s, you can also visit the nearby art galleries. This can make for a great combination. You can use our New York ground transportation for this event, professional chauffeur included.

Balthazar is a French restaurant located in SoHo. Instead of bagel towers, it’s known for seafood towers. Balthazar became even more popular after a famous scene in Sex and the City, and you’re more likely to see a celebrity brunching here than at any other location in NYC. Once you step inside, you will feel as though you have been transported to Paris.

Nom Wah Tea Parlor

Located in Chinatown for nearly 100 years, Nom Wah Tea Parlor is best known for its dim sum, rice rolls, and OG egg roll. Despite a menu revamp in 2011, Nom Wah Tea Parlor has received mixed reviews. This relates to menu selection. Like any Chinese restaurant, you need to know what to order. The service here is fast and friendly, and in addition to the menu items mentioned above, you should consider the soup dumplings.

Locanda Verde

Located in Tribeca, Locanda Verde isn’t your ordinary Italian restaurant; it’s a season Italian restaurant known for its wood-fired food. It’s a large space, which means shorter wait times than the other restaurants mentioned on this list. The high ceilings also give it a spacious and comfortable vibe. In regards to food, there are many quality options to choose from, but it’s highly recommended that you give the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes a go.

Shopsin’s General Store

The name is misleading. Yes, it is a general store, but it is also a restaurant. You will find Shopsin’s General Store at the Essex Street Market, which is located on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Shopsin’s is best known for its Slutty Pancakes, which are pancakes with peanut butter and pumpkin. Another favorite menu item is Castles, which are sliders with eggs. If you’re really adventurous, try the Sneaky Pete, which is spicy garlic bread with bacon monetary jack and tomatoes and three poached eggs. If you’re more of a plane Jane eater, consider the ABC, which is gravy, grits, sausage, and eggs.

Our limousine service can help you maximize your New York City brunch experience, especially if you’re traveling with a small group. Our professional and well-trained chauffeurs are courteous and punctual, and they know the city in and out.
