Peak Inside Cathay Pacific's New Premium Amenity Kits

Air travel can be exhilarating and exhausting all in the same trip. When traveling for extended periods, it’s always nice when you can breathe a sigh of relief and relax with some amenities on board the plane.

If you count yourself among the ranks of frequent travelers who are accustomed to enjoying the finer things in life, you undoubtedly have come across a variety of gift items and other enticements when flying in first class or premium accommodations.

These are part of the perks that the travel industry uses to entice customers to remain loyal to their brand. Of course, the gifts these airlines hand out also serve to entice future passengers who hear about them through online reports about the latest amenity kits.

If you happen to be an aspiring world traveler who is just becoming familiar with the more luxurious side of air travel, it’s natural to be curious about the types of amenity kits you will typically expect to see when flying high in the pampered skies.

As fans of all things that can make life easier for busy travelers, we were interested to see a recent report at The Design Air about Cathay Pacific’s new premium amenity kits.

The airline, based in Hong Kong, has selected skincare products developed by Jurlique and Aesop to distribute to passengers in the new amenity kits. Weary fliers should be delighted to see small containers of lip cream and hand cream, especially when traveling between countries with completely different climates.

Travel cases from Aesop now come with the ability to stack and attach together so female passengers can create a quick travel beauty case.

Examples of items appearing in the new Cathay Pacific amenity kits:

* Jurlique Citrus Hand Cream

* Toothpaste, toothbrush, eyeshade

* Anti-skid socks

* Earplugs

* Aesop Rosehip Seed Lip Cream

* Hairbrush

* Aesop Camel top zip case with a flap

* Cloth to clean monitors

The amenity kits that passengers receive can be seen as a nice form of relief to help soothe away some of the stress and irritation that sometimes accompany even the most carefully planned trips. It’s nice to see that Cathay Pacific is doing its part to help make air travel more enjoyable for passengers.
